CONGRATULATIONS LIONS OF THE YEAR

BRENDA MIZE & JUSTIN FANCHER

The Burleson Lions Club President Les Havins presented two Lions of the Year awards to Lions Brenda Mize and Justin Fancher. Congratulations Brenda and Justin for all you do to keep our club moving forward and successful!!!

Brenda is our long time Club Treasurer. Her hard work is sometimes not seen by many inside or outside the club, but she is a primary reason we are on great financial footing!  She does much more than finances, participating in our service projects like leading our parade registration.

Justin is our club Secretary. Justin ensures we are properly documented and recored and keeps our club straight with district.  In addition, Justin is our central collection point for all of the eyeglass donations collected across the community.  Last year that was over 4,000 pairs of glasses!!

Burleson Lions Club Honored with 2023 Non-Profit of the Year by the Burleson Chamber of Commerce!

CONGRATULATIONS BILLY AYARS!!

Billy was recently recognized as Lion of the Year 2023-2024 for the Burleson Lions Club. Bill has very humbly served this club for many years.  He is always the first to step forward for countless projects, community service needs, and tons of small detail items without regard for praise or notoriety.  Our club is Extremely lucky to have you and your dedication to Service to Others.  You exemplify the Lions motto "WE SERVE"!!!
